The Brigade School, Whitefield is located off the Main Mahadevpura Road was completed in 2009. The rectangular site covers an area of 1,50,000 sft and is situated along a reclaimed lake bed. The building was laid out along the longer axis of the site with fenestrations framing views of the lake. The facilities in the school include classrooms, academic areas, library, labs, a swimming pool and a play field.

The spaces in the school are oriented along a central spine, which is used for circulation. The classroom blocks are punctured by open to sky courts which serve as an extension to the indoor teaching spaces. Staggered stairwells allow for views up or down between different floors and to the pool and assembly areas.

In addition to the facilities the school also has a 900 seater MLR auditorium with a banquet facility in the basement. A suspended column free corridor in concrete connects the MLR Auditorium to the school block. This structure was designed as a Vierendeel Truss, and at the time of completion was awarded for being the largest free span concrete structure. This structure was designed so that a large column free assembly hall could be accommodated in the basement below.
