Design area (sq. ft) - 75,000sqft
Project status / Completion date - 2020
The Giga cars showroom encapsulates a new retail concept for second hand cars with a large display area, designed as an iconic structure that reflects the brand identity and creates a strong storyline for the upcoming establishments.
The showroom houses a display of over 500 cars, within a large well-lit shell, connected to the customer retail space. A grand reception lobby is planned on the ground level, leading up via a sculptural staircase, to the first floor that houses customer discussion and transaction zones along with the viewing gallery. A café is also planned to add to the visitor experience.
The vibrant brand colours are infused into the space through various design elements like the flooring and façade. The shell, designed in an industrial aesthetic, incorporates plenty of natural light and ventilation through skylights and louvres. Inexpensive materials and raw finishes help achieve a warm, neutral look throughout the space.
